These Fall New England themed Award Winning Firehouse Steak Tips are special in both taste and theme. Maple syrup and Grand Ma’s Molasses add local flavor and locks in the marinade and natural juices. From Firehouse Families to homecoming tailgates with college families and in #1 UMASS dining halls, and back home to the back yard grill, this recipe brings the taste home. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
8 steak tips/person (4 oz. portion each) 13.5 oz. bottle Kikkoman teriyaki sauce 12 oz. jug McLure’s maple syrup
14 oz. jar Grandma’s molasses
2 oz. container Montreal Steak seasoning 8 oz. A-1 sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Marinate tips in teriyaki sauce overnight prior to broiling or grilling; optional...one tablespoon of Montreal Steak seasoning and one tablespoon A-1 sauce per serving can be included in the marinade.
2. One hour before broiling or grilling marinate in molasses; make sure they are submerged.
3. Just prior to broiling or grilling, brush with maple syrup, again while turning and lightly brush before serving from pan with hot au jus.
