Easy Rice Dish

INGREDIENTS PREPARATION
Serves 6 to 8
1 cup white or brown rice
1 (10-ounce) can condensed French onion soup
1 (10-ounce can) beef broth
1 (6-ounce) jar sliced mush- rooms, drained
1⁄2 cup (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, sliced
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. In a 9-inch square bak-
ing dish, stir together the rice, onion soup, broth and mushrooms. Place the but- ter slices on top. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
3. Bake for 30 minutes, then uncover the dish and bake until the rice is tender, about 30 minutes more. Stir the rice and serve.
