6. To make the topping, mix the sugar and cinnamon together on a plate. Pour the melted butter into a bowl.
7. When the muffins are still hot but just cool enough to handle, dip their tops into the melted butter, then into the sugar-cin- namon mixture. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
