Simple Basil Pasta

Preparation
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain well. Transfer to a large bowl.
2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium- high heat. Add the garlic and cook until lightly browned. Add tomatoes and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the basil and Parmesan cheese.
3. Add the tomato mixture to the pasta and toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

Serves 4 to 6
1 pound pasta (any type)
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved 1 cup fresh basil leaves
1⁄2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt
Ground black pepper
