Easy Chicken with Sauce

Preparation
1. In a bowl, stir together the ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice and pepper until well mixed. Set aside.
2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft- ened and translucent, about 8 minutes.
3. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
4. Pour the ketchup mixture over the chick- en and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low and simmer until tender, 25 to 35 minutes.
5. Serve with rice or egg noodles.
Ingredients
Serves 4
6 tablespoons ketchup 4 tablespoons soy sauce
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion, chopped
3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite- sized pieces
Steamed rice or egg noodles, for serving
