INGREDIENTS
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 small box instant pudding
1 cup milk
1⁄4 cup Kahlua (can substitute with coffee)
1 large tub Cool Whip
4 Heath bars, crushed
CHOCOLATE TRIFLE
1 Bake cake according to directions in 9x13-inch pan. Let cool, then cut in half and freeze 1⁄2 for future use.
2 Cut remaining half of cake into 1-inch cubes.
3 Combine pudding, milk and Kahlua; mix well.
4 Layer dessert in large glass bowl as follows: 1⁄2 of the cake cubes, 1⁄2 of the pudding, 1⁄2 of the Cool Whip, and 1⁄2 of the crushed candy. Repeat.
5 Refrigerate up to two days before serving.
Note: You can use the entire cake by doubling the rest of the ingredients.
