5. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of dough
1 inch apart (the cookies will barely spread) onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake 1 sheet at a time for 8 to 10 minutes, rotating the cookie sheet 180 degrees halfway through baking to ensure even browning. The tops will be dry and crisp and the centers should remain soft and chewy.
Do not over bake! Transfer to a wire rack
to cool completely.
6. It is best to let these cookies cool until the chocolate morsels reharden before serving. They are also very good frozen!
