This is a favorite dessert of my daughter who attends UMass. I don’t make it often so she won’t get tired of it, so when I do, she gets so excited and can’t wait to dig in. This pie seldom lasts for long in our household!
INGREDIENTS
Cookie Dough Recipe
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1⁄4 cup packed light brown sugar
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. water
1⁄4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup Hersey’s semi-sweet chocolate chunks
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F.

2 packages (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened 1⁄3 cup white granulated sugar
1⁄3 cup sour cream
1 egg
1⁄2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 packaged chocolate crumb crust (6 oz.)
2. Prepare cookie dough. In a small mixer bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, water and vanilla; beat until blended. Stir in chocolate chunks. Set this mixture aside.
3. In a small mixer bowl on medium speed, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; blend in sour cream, egg and vanilla. Pour into crust.
4. Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls evenly onto cream cheese mixture.
5. Bake 35-40 minutes or just until almost set in the center.
6. Cool completely on a wire rack.
