This dessert is served at Christmas to our family. It has been passed down from a great-great grandmother who came from Italy.
INGREDIENTS
1 dozen eggs
2 cups of sugar
2 1⁄2 tsp. of vanilla
3 lb. of ricotta
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour
1 can diced peaches Nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F.
2. Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla with mixer for 5 minutes.
3. Add ricotta slowly until well mixed, then add cinnamon and flour.
4. With spoon, add peaches and mix gently.
5. Place in greased 9 x 13 pan, sprinkle a little nutmeg on top.
6. Cook 45 minutes to 1 hour until golden brown and knife comes out clean.
7. Turn off oven and let it cool in oven for 45 min.
8. Can be served warm or cold, room temp is best!
