INGREDIENTS
IRISH BREAD
3⁄4 cup sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1⁄2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder 3 cups flour
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 cup raisins
1 Heat oven to 350°F.
2 Mix together sugar and butter.
3 Add remaining ingredients. Mix until lumps are gone. Batter will be stiff.
4 Pour into 8-inch round pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
