SPICED APPLESAUCE BREAD
INGREDIENTS
1⁄2 tsp. baking powder 1⁄2 tsp. cinnamon
1⁄4 tsp. nutmeg
1⁄4 tsp. allspice
1⁄4 tsp. salt
1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
Stir in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt. Mix until smooth. Fold in the pecans.
Pour batter into prepared loaf
pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center of the loaf comes out clean.
Serves 12.
1 1⁄4 cup applesauce 1 cup sugar
1⁄2 cup vegetable oil 2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 3 9x5-inch loaf pan.
