PLACKI ZIEMNIACZANE (POTATO PANCAKES)
INGREDIENTS
8 potatoes, washed, peeled and grated
1⁄2 cup flour
2 medium red or yellow onions, chopped fine
1 cup vegetable oil
1 Combine potatoes, flour, onion and salt in a large bowl.
2 Heat oil in a pan. Scoop 2-3 tbsp.
of the mixture into the pan to make a pancake-size. Let cook until golden brown on one side, then flip to cook the other side.
3 Remove from pan and remove excess oil with a paper towel. Top with sour cream and/or bacon.
