INGREDIENTS

1 lb. small lamb shoulders 1 tsp. olive oil
2 medium onions, chopped fine
2 lb. string beans, washed 1 small can tomato paste 1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. allspice
1 Fry the lamb in olive oil in a large pot until they’re browned.
2 Add remaining ingredients to the pot. Fill pot with water until all the beans are covered. Simmer until beans are tender, about 1 hour. Serve over rice pilaf, and use thin Syrian bread instead of utensils to eat it.
