INGREDIENTS
DABELI
For the dabeli masala:
2 tbsp. coriander seeds 1 tbsp. cumin seeds
l tsp. fennel seeds
l tsp. cloves
1-inch cinnamon stick 4-5 dried red chilies
l tbsp. black peppercorns 4-5 cardamom pods
For the filling:
4 medium—sized potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. dabeli masala
2 tbsp. tamarind chutney
2 tbsp. roasted peanuts, crushed
2 tbsp. fresh pomegranate seeds (optional)
2 tbsp. finely chopped
coriander leaves Salt, to taste
4-6 burger buns Butter, to toast buns
For garnish:
Sev (fried gram flour vermicelli)
Finely chopped onions Fresh coriander leaves Nylon sev (optional)
